• User: your library card code (for example: J0000).
• PIN: you can get it on the CABIB home page, in the Registered Users section.

• Up to 7 documents from the same library.
• Up to 10 documents in total if they are from different libraries.

• Through your personal space in CABIB.
• By contacting the library.

Yes. You can request documents from the libraries of Ibiza and Formentera and receive them for free at your library.
The request can be made directly in CABIB with your card number and PIN.
For documents from Mallorca or Menorca, check with the library.

It is recommended to return them to the same library where they were collected.

Yes. Libraries have 24-hour return slots outside.

Yes. You can reserve any document:

• Through CABIB.
• At the library.

Late returns result in a temporary suspension of borrowing rights for the same length of time as the delay.

The user is responsible for the document and must replace it by purchasing a new copy.

You must report it to the library. If necessary, a duplicate will be made.

Yes. Entities, associations, and institutions can request a collective card to access library services.

You can search all documents online in the Bibliographic Catalog of the Balearic Islands (CABIB). You can limit the search by title, author, subject (topic) or keyword. You can also filter the search to see only documents available in a specific library.

With your library card you can access the various digital services of the libraries of the Balearic Islands.

• CABIB: search the catalog, manage your user account, renew loans, reserve documents, etc.
• eBiblio Balearic Islands: borrow e-books, audiobooks, digital newspapers and magazines, etc.
• eFilms Balearic Islands: online movie, documentary, and series streaming platform.

Yes. You can send the proposal using the suggestions form on the web and the library will assess its purchase.

Yes. With the library card you can access e-books, audiobooks, press and magazines, and movies and series through the platforms eBiblio Balearic Islands and eFilms Balearic Islands.
